What to expect on a Private Fishing Charter
When booking with King Triton Sport Fishing all of our trips are private charters. We will have all of the necessary gear ready to go and all of the bait will be included as well. On day trips we have drinks, snacks and lunch available. Overnight and longer trips will have gourmet meals for dinner and lunch throughout the trip and of course snacks and drinks are available to grab. We will take care of the catch and make sure it is blead and iced properly. During the bluefin season it is recommended to make a reservation with one of the local fish processors as they can be very busy. Please feel free to call and ask any questions and make any special requests prior to your trip.
Half-Day Fishing Charters 6 hours

Generally, we will be targeting delicious Rockfish on these trips. We have all of the fishing gear you will need so just show up and enjoy the day.
Full-Day Fishing Charters 12 hours

Dive deep into the heart of the action with our full-day excursions. Spend between 10-12 hours battling the ocean giants while soaking in the beauty of the open waters. We have a few trip options depending on the seasons. On the full day trip, we depart around 5am on the search for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail , Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna and other pelagic sportfish. These trips include Bait, all the fishing gear you could possibly need, and we have drinks and snacks on board. Just show up and enjoy the day.
Overnight Fishing Charters 20 hours

These trips are for the avid fisherman that is ready to get in to it. We leave the dock around 9pm and travel overnight out to the fishing grounds. These trips allow us to cover some serious ground to get on the fish early the next morning.

A Sportfishing Story and Science
King Triton Sportfishing was hired by a group of Scientists last year to harvest pacific bluefin. The target was several mature units that we could take slime samples and stomach samples. None the less after a long first day, seeing so many fish that wouldn’t bite we were finally able to get some biters right around sunset on the kite. It was mayhem but we were ready. One thvng I have learned fishing these Big Bluefin the last 6 years is patience is key. We knew this was an important trip when ventured out. We ended up 93 miles from the marina when we finally landed our last fish. It’s a blast every time but this was a trip that tested us everyone and it paid off.
